Barbados Music Awards: Rosay Kool Nominated For Rap / Hip – Hop Artist Of The Year

Rosay Kool, currently signed to Island Mayhem Caribbean Records is a Caribbean rap/hip-hop artist. He has been on the rap scene for many years now and up to this day he has many accomplishments under his belt. A few months ago this rap artist released his EP entitled ‘Island Love’ which blew the minds of his many fans.

This year, Rosay Kool has been nominated for Rap / Hip – Hop Artist Of The Year at the Barbados Music Awards.  The show takes place on December 18th at the Kensington Oval.

Barbados Music Awards

The Barbados Music Awards (Commonly referred to as the BMA’s) was launched back in 2006 by Ronnie Morris, singer, songwriter, male model and the CEO of Timeless Barbados Inc.

Ronnie began performing at the ripe age of 12 and built his career on an international level as both an artist and model. He had a burning desire to promote his home country of Barbados and show to the world the talent that this little island under the sun has to offer.

With this vision in his mind and dream in his heart, he founded Timeless Barbados Inc. where he carried out the roles of founder, director and producer of the Barbados Music Awards.

The Barbados Music Awards has acknowledged some of the biggest Barbadian recording artists of all time including Shontelle, Livvi Franc and of course my favorite, Rihanna.

Last week, Friday October 14^th to be exact, the forty-two committee members of the Barbados Music Awards met at Kensington Oval for a three-hour meeting concerning the event. During this time consuming and unabated meeting, they carefully selected the nominees for the various categories of the BMA’s.
