‘Talk That Talk’ Dominates The U.K. Charts

The Official Charts Company has reported that Rihann’s new album ‘Talk That Talk’ hit 160,000 copies in its first week, taking its rightful place as the top-selling album in the UK. The Brits just can’t get enough of the Barbadian Gem !

Her Calvin Harris produced track, ‘We Found Love’ is currently enjoying its sixth week at the no.1 spot on the singles chart. Rihanna currently has the No.1 single and album in the U.K. for the second time in one year. Her previous album ‘Loud’ and ‘What’s My Name’ both topped the charts simultaneously earlier this year. This makes her the first female and artist since the 70’s to simultaneously top the two charts twice in one year.’

Chris Brown States Haters ‘Will Respect’ Him Someday

A flustered Chris Brown took to Twitter to address the hateful statements directed towards him from Rihanna fans. After he received multiple hateful tweets about the beating of his ex-girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009, he made some comments saying that the haters need to “grow up.”

“Don’t say s—t to anybody and everyone feels its cool to attack me. GROWN ADULTS!!!! That s—t happened three years ago,” Brown tweeted. He continued: “I know a lot of you wack a— (OLD) celebrities probably wanna f—k my ex, but talking s—t on me wont get you far! and to be REALLY HONEST, ya’ll wonder why n—-er spazzes all the time?”

It doesn’t stop there: “TWITTER GETS WACK REAL FAST… People please grow up. I’ve never dealt with so much negativity in my life! It’s to the point now that it’s just ridiculous! I’M NOT A POLITICIAN! MY MUSIC DOESNT PROMOTE VIOLENCE nor will it ever! Only thing it will increase is the pregnancy rate!”

After his rant the singer regained his calm and tweeted, “I wake up thinking of living my life….. YOU wake up thinking of me…U dont have to respect me now… but u will.”

During her interview with Esquire a few months ago, Rihanna admitted that she no longer resents Chris Brown and has since put the abuse behind her to focus on her career. She said,  “I would never wish anything horrible for him. Never. I never have.”

Care To Rent Lady Gaga’s Former NYC Apartment?

Lady Gaga’s former NYC apartment located on the Lower East side is now back on the market. The apartment, located at 176 Stanton Street can be rented for a shockingly affordable monthly payment of $1,850.

The three bedroom apartment is on the third floor of the building and pets are allowed. It’s also a great spot due to the fact that it’s minutes away from trains and the party scene. To sweeten the deal, Clinton Street Baking Company is only a few steps away from the building.

All in all, its not a pretty bad price if you’re sure that you can handle that kind of rent. It’s rather steep but hey, that’s what a place in the city is going for these days.

Performers Lineup For The 13th Annual Martina McBride Holiday Special

The 13^th annual Home For the Holidays With Martina McBride special will soon be upon us and so far, Justin Bieber, One Republic and Mary J.Blige among many other artists have been added to the performers lineup for the show. Martina McBride herself will also be making a much-expected appearance.

Much like its predecessors, this special will tell tales of adoption from foster cares in hopes of increasing the public awareness of orphaned children. Actresses Denise Richards and Katherine Heigl, who have both adopted daughters, will also be present.

The 13th annual ‘A Home for the Holidays With Martina McBride’ is set to air Dec. 21 at 8:00 PM ET on CBS. Tune in for a chance to see great performances mixed in with emotional tales.

Rihanna Performs ‘We Found Love’ On The X Factor USA

Rihanna just jumped on the stage of “The X Factor USA” to perform her hit single, ‘We Found Love’ off of her upcoming album, ‘Talk That talk.’ The Pop Mega-Star wore a plaid tube top, a decked out bomber jacket full of badges with the American flag on the back, torn acid wash jeans and black boots. She stayed true to her ‘We Found Love’ persona from head to toe.

RiRi emerged from behind a fence with a few of her backup dancers and as they hit the center stage decorated with neon signs, a flurry of dancers appeared and they all began to party to the Calvin Harris production.  Rihanna decided to throw out the detailed choreography for this one as both her and her dancers went wild on the stage. They looked like they were having tons of fun and it really brought out the meaning of the track.

As the performance came to an end, Rihanna leaned back on her knees while she sung the final note. RiRi flew in from her world tour just to perform and after her performance, she was asked to give the finalists a little advice. She said, “Umm, there’s so much advice I could give but I would say most importantly, you have to love what you do. If you don’t it’s a waste of time because its not easy, its really hard. So if you love it, it never feels like work.”

Rihanna will be performing on The X Factor UK (Sunday, Nov. 20) and on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (Monday, Nov. 21).

Justin Bieber On Elvis Duran and the Morning Show

Earlier this morning, Justin Bieber walked into the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show in New York to talk about his charity work, his new album and of course, his baby mama drama.

Bieber said that he is always on the move, “Usually, I work really hard for awhile, like go go go, and then I take a week off.” He also said that he’s super busy and that thinking back to the point where he was flying literally every morning, he got sick. “I take a day off every week, I try to make sure I don’t work myself too hard.”

After a conversation about his charity work and his Christmas album ‘Under the Mistletoe,’ he inevitably touched on the baby mama issue. Bieber set the record straight saying that the accusations are definitely false. “Right now I’m focusing on my album and the music and the charity that we’re doing,” he explained. “Just being positive, because Christmas time is a time for joy and happiness, so that’s what I’m thinking.”

He continued, “As far as the whole baby situation, it’s unfortunate that it had to happen like that, that people make false accusations. But things happen in this industry and you just have to keep your head high and be positive and that’s all I really have to say.”

“If it was up to me, it would have been a better story, like, ‘Justin Bieber went off to South America with this 27-year-old supermodel…’ That would have been an awesome one,” he said. The radio hosts exploded with laughter and one of them feels that he “should still sue her ass.”

“They say that any press is good press — I do not believe that’s true,” he added. “If you’re in the spotlight, then people are looking at you to be a role model, and if you’re doing bad things to be getting press, I think that’s really, really sad.”

Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun had a few words for Yeater and her legal team as well. “Look, I don’t usually talk in front of mics but the bottom line is they said they’re in settlement talks with us, and the only thing I’m gonna say is they will never be in settlement talks with us,” he said. “We will never settle with them. That’s my little guy right there — I protect him — and they messed with the wrong crew.

“It’s false and people should be held accountable when they run out and say this stuff,” Braun continued. “And they have this lawyer running around saying, ‘Well, we want everything to be held confidentially now.’ But you don’t get to go out there and badmouth a 17-year-old kid to the entire world then suddenly think it’s going to stay confidential. We’re not gonna go away quietly. I’m from around [the NYC area], and you know that people from around here don’t like to be messed with.”

After his interview with Z100, Bieber is slated to make numerous radio and media appearances. He will also be hosting a gala with Pencils of Promise in the Big Apple.

Honey Jam Barbados 2011

Honey Jam Barbados took place last week at The Plantation offering the perfect occasion for dozens of beautiful ladies to showcase their talents. The event producer, Ebonnie Rowe, realized great success and respect, particularly because the show began very promptly and progressed smoothly.   Event producers here in Barbados should take a page from her book, because we are all too familiar with having to wait an additional one to two hours for an event to begin.

 

 

Love FM’s very own Caroline Roach whose bubbly personality enhanced the atmosphere hosted the show. She was also the one who handed out at least a dozen giveaways from the event’s sponsors.

 

 

Accompanying the prompt start of the show were Barbadian ladies overflowing with talent. The guests witnessed performances ranging from gospel to rap with a little jazz and spoken word mixed in. Some of the ladies chose to perform their own songs while others stuck with covers of prominent songs including, ‘We Found Love,’ ‘Love On Top’ and ‘Something’s Got a Hold on Me.’

As you can see, the Honey Jam Honeys did a spectacular job. I look forward to next year’s showcase. Good job Ebonnie!

Mariah Yeater Insists That Justin Bieber Take Paternity Test

This b**** just won’t give up! Despite the fact that her lawyers threw both her and her case out the door, Yeater just keeps pushing. We thought that Justin was in the clear but that’s not the case. Yeater has hired new lawyers and has decided to pursue the case outside of the court system.

Jeffrey M. Leving, who has foolishly decided to represent Yeater told WGN-TV, “This matter is not over. Negotiations are going on right now with Bieber’s counsel. There’s a new legal team [in place.]” He also stated that Yeater still believes that Justin is the father of her child and that a private DNA test will be pursued

He continued, “My goal, when a DNA test is completed, is to keep everything confidential, which will be difficult if not impossible. I’m very concerned about this.”

Justin’s PR Crisis Manager Matthew Hiltzik has replied with a statement saying, “It’s sad that someone would fabricate such a malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claim. We’ll continue to consider all of our options to protect Justin.” [According to PEOPLE]

On another note, TMZ has gotten their hands on text messages, which supposedly indicate that Yeater believes her ex to be the father. Bieber’s lawyer commented saying, “This information proves Mariah Yeater fabricated the story.”

He continued, “Our independent investigation indicates Ms. Yeater never meet Justin, she has consistently identified another man as the child’s father, and Ms. Yeater and her co-conspirators hatched this scheme in order to extort money from him and to sell her story to the media.”

Weitzman concluded “There have been no settlement discussions and there never will be.”

Justin Bieber’s Paternity Suit Dropped

Mariah Yeater, the 20 year old woman who accused Justin Bieber of being her baby daddy after a 30 second sex session in the bathroom of the Staples Center, has withdrawn her paternity suit and her request for child support.

According to TMZ, the suit was withdrawn late last week after Yeater’s lawyers decided to cease client lawyer relations. Bieber threatened to sue Yeater and her legal team for making false allegations once he returned to the U.S. Perhaps that was one of the reasons why her legal team dropped both her and the case.

Thankfully this scandal is all over and Selena can get back to being the spotlight female in Justin’s life.
